The Greatest Fall Bucket List

Fall has long been one of my most favorite seasons! What’s not to love about a season filled with pumpkin spice lattes, vibrant fall foliage, cozy sweaters, and football? When my husband and I were newlyweds, sure I was able to convince him to go to a pumpkin patch with me (which were not that easy to find at that time in the desert of southwest!) and drive into the colorful mountains of northern Arizona. However, it wasn’t until I had my kiddos that my heart was set on filling the autumn season with intention. I was going to pursue the beauty and magic of fall to my heart’s content, and my children’s earliest memories were going to be filled with fall tradition!

This year, I invite you to join me in seeking the beauty of fall with your whole heart and intention, it truly is a season filled with God’s blessings. While you may not be harvesting your own crops, perhaps you can seek out what you are harvesting…what bounty of blessings have you received? Blessings might be as subtle as the scent of a bonfire shared with loved ones, being able to toss a football with an adoring child, or taking cozy refuge in your home from the season’s first chill. So while you might be a parent of young children like me, exploring the season’s finest with the person you love, or adventuring into a new season of life all your own, I hope you find a moment that fills you with complete joy and peace. Need some ideas? I’d love to share with you what my family has compiled over the years! Have some traditions of your own that you don’t see here? Our bucket list evolves every year, I’d love to add your traditions as well!

Blessings to you this rich and vibrant season! Praying you find some ideas here that offer a sweet surprise of what autumn has to offer, and that with joy, you feel God’s vibrant love for you every part of it. Keep in touch, let me know what your favorite bucket list items are!
